Sialan is our brand name; the tea itself comes from the gardens of Amlash in eastern Gilan. The leaves ripen in the humid, misty air of the Amlash foothills, are picked in season and go straight to packing: pure, fragrant Iranian tea with no artificial colouring, no essence, and no distance between the garden and the cup.
Since 2006
Sialan is our brand name, not the name of the place we harvest. Our tea is grown, processed and packed in the gardens of Amlash, in the east of Gilan province. If the name sounds familiar, you may be thinking of the historic port of Sialan in Bushehr. That is a different place and has nothing to do with where our tea is grown.
